Spherical ball bearing（insert bearing） is actually a variant of deep groove ball bearings, it is characterized by its outer diameter surface for spherical which can be fitted into the corresponding concave spherical bearing housing to play the role of self-aligning, and its basic performance with deep groove ball bearings should be similar. But because most of the spherical bearings used in rough machinery, and the accuracy of this bearing is not high enough, some structures are very rough. The spherical bearings on both side with seals to prevent dirt intrusion, and factory also filled the right amount lubricant before package it. 
Outer spherical ball bearings are preferred for applications requiring simple tools and components, such as for agricultural machinery, transportation systems or construction machinery, mainly used to bear radial load and radial-axial load, generally not alone bear axial load. Such bearings can be installed inner and outer ring separately. The axial clearance of the type bearings affect the bearing property extremely, if the axial clearance is too small, the temperature raise quickly, axial clearance is too large, the bearing is very easy to be damaged. Therefore, pay more attention to adjust the axial clearance of the spherical in installation.
